Most indoor fields set a much lower FPS then the outdoor limit of 280-300fps. The limit i believe is around 250 and even lower at some indoor places.

That all depends on you.

Is it like in the first 3 seconds you get out or do u have time to get to a bunker ? What mode should I put my proto slg ul on? Do u play speedball or xball?

You can get nailed the first few seconds off the break on a speedball field too there's no difference there really. Field layout and skill level can determine that as well. Ask a ref or the field owner about what modes you can use not us. I no longer have interest in paintball so i don't play anymore.

Have you actually played paintball before?
I played both but i preferred speedball. If you're worried about pain then you want to rethink playing paintball. Speedball style of play can get up close and personal and you with a mass of nasty welts.

obviously the range is closer, the pain is greater.

I would'nt worry too much, if you are seriously worried, get a vest, neck protector, rollerblading arm pads, knee pads, helmet to wear over your mask and a of course always have a cup.

The indoor field we have where i live is literallly the size of my basement, tiny. It takes balls to play on that thing, pun intended.
