Canadian Scenario Paintball Operations ( www.canadianscenariopaintball.com (http://www.canadianscenariopaintball.com/) ) is set to launch the first national paintball discount card in January 2010. The card will be cross-vendor, and the same card that can be used at a store in Vancouver, BC can be used at a paintball field in Midland, ON.
This is the first discount card that will work at paintball fields, paintball stores, and a variety of other outlets. Players can also use the card to enhance their winnings in the 2010 national Hired Guns scenario paintball cash tournament series which is happening in 10 cities across Canada with over 15 games; players can opt to take their cash winnings and place them “on the card” to get bonuses of 5-35% at participating retailers.
CSPO operates in 29 cities across Canada in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec with recruiters operating at over 40 paintball fields.
Exact costs of the card will be released shortly, and players are already requesting information on how to pre-order the cards.
In addition to a nominal charge ($10-$15 CDN), the cards are only available to active CSPO squad members across Canada.
Players can look up a squad on the group’s organization roster on their website. Players who are in an area without any CSPO squads can easily apply to start one in their area through the website. Joining a CSPO squad does not cost the player anything.
The card includes anti-fraud features as well as a UID check so that online retailers and merchants can verify the validity of the card over the telephone for online or telephone ordering.
For information on the card or information to order the cards, visit www.canadianscenariopaintball.com (http://www.canadianscenariopaintball.com/). Merchants interested in participating are encouraged to contact CSPO’s business manager, Kris Taylor, at salesmgr@computerologyconsulting.com (salesmgr@computerologyconsulting.com)
