The owner of my local field and the coach of one of the best teams in the state totally bash bushies. Every time I walk into the pro shop and mention bushmaster its "they break down" "never see em work right" "the design is flawed." It makes me CRAZY! They like the Em1's better because "they are easier to work on"! Please tell me, because I think I'm being brainwashed, Bushies are good and don't break down a lot. I was really looking into them, but these guys keep making me second guess myself. I know they're good... I know they're good... I know they're good...

I take some heat online, but in person, all they ever say is, that looks nice, hows it shoot, or, wow, thats a light gun.

I take some heat from Cocker people. When they actually see the gun, they stop dissing. They're amazing guns.

Hmm really you take heat from cocker owners ? I own 2 cockers now and had 3 bushy's (well defiants count too) and i love them both.. i prefer a cocker cause i'm mechanically inclined and like shiny thing that click...

I guess these guys just had bad experiences in past or something. I mean, they really trash em. I'm serious when I say "bushmaster" they jump on me. I don't understand it!

well some of them are cocker freaks that think anything else is uncivilized (okay what comercial is that from???) other then that the only other people that will bash them is one's who do not know anything about them or ever touched one, or had a bad experience.. but that can happen with any gun.

ya it all depends who you talk too, when i was in Seattle before i had got my new gun and i was still deciding what i wanted to get, i mentioned impulse and was shot down fast. they said they never work and are terrible guns, they said bushies were ok. other times i have been in shops and angel owners say that cockers break down all the time and they chop and suck. its all preference, and usually people that prefer one gun, hate another.
and if they cant understand a bushmaster, they must be pretty lame as they are very complicated guns, and there is no design flaw IMO. i would like to know what part of the design they think is flawed . . .

wow, the people at your local field are tottal retards. there might have been a flaw in there design when they first came out, but all guns have that when they first come out. They are actually very reliable guns.
I have an Impulse, and my brother just got a new Bushmaster. The bushy is really nice. now they come with better milling/ano, blade style trigger, and a nice 2 piece barrel. Plus they are REALLY light. the trigger is so short that you can side tap it to make it shoot. Really good gun for the money, but I'm gonna stick with my impy cause IMO its better. the only thing the bushy has that my impy doesnt are those 8 fire modes, i think they are usless cause no fields will let you use them.
but go with what you like. just like every1 says, its personal preference. id suggest playing with every gun that you can get you hands on before buying.

well do they stock bushmasters? if not, there's your answer
here's actual words (i remember 'cuz it's funny...kinda) from the local store owner
me: hey darrin, do you have any sonic high-rises w/ o-ring retention systems?
darrin: um no. but you don't want those any ways, lots of times the o-ring will roll in and break. then you're really screwed i think they're pretty worthless. kinda faddy
one week later
me: hey darrin, do you have that spacer for my hopper yet?
darrin: hey brett, no i actually got in these sonic high rises, they're really sweet.
it'll hold the hopper much tighter
me:uhuh, i've heard of those before . i also heard somewhere that the or-ngs break.
darrin: umm nooo. i've never heard of that happening before. it that happens to you bring it in and i'll fix it right up.
i still use tape. but it just goes to show that people wanna sell what they've got.
my bushy has yet to have a problem and i've had it for approx 9 months.
it works great and i get lots of compliments.
i get some heat from my back player, he thinks it's too small, but he's not using it, i am. and it has a hell of a lot less problems than his angel and i get much better consistency over the chrono. what else could you possibly want?
if you don't screw around with it and you keep a set of extra batteries handy, you won't have any problems.
and bushies are some of the easiest paintball guns to fix. normally all you need to do is lower the lpr pressure or put in a new battery.
if you use one and like it, go for it.
i've used an em1. and i like my bushy MUCH better.

listen to simon, for he is wise :D
Everyone is gonna tell you their gun is better and your guns sucks. Its natural for human beings.. They always have to have the BEST stuff and if they dont have the "best" then you dont have the "best".. You just gotta ignore them and take it to the house on the field
 .. that was... awkard..

Yeah, but this guy is a PRO SHOP and FIELD owner... he can have pretty much any gun he wants! But yet he STILL bashes bushies. lol, maybe I won't get a cocker, buy a bushy, and go out there and try to give bushies a better name.

I get heat from Angel people...but that may be due to the "0% Angel" sticker on my hopper. It's true though, a Bushy isn't gonna go bad unless you help it, I know this all too well. So just remember, "If it ain't broken, don't fix it", and you'll be fine.

I too get talked down to by angel owners,
Of course its because I cant stand that british made pile of crud and I let them know so. My view, why pay 1800 bucks for some pile of $*it when you could spend 1000 and build a trick full custom bushy that keeps up with any other marker out there.
Bushmaster is the way to go. Angels are just overpriced, poorly made imported crud. Autocockers are good but take to much to keep up.

bushies are nice, but i find it kind of hypocritical for you to trash angels . . . and also stock LCDs have dropped in price to about $900, not $1800, thats more than an ir3.

yes i deed LED Angels are about $500 and LCD 2001
s are about 850 to 1200 and ir3s (no offense... damn modified rainmaker grip lol) are still above $1300

I could have bought any gun also for wholesale but I got a bushmaster.
Its true about shop owners telling you something sucks because they dont carry it. The best is when they tell you something doesnt exist. I guess I can understand, this one shop I used to go to to get air fills or a barrel plug or something would always look sad when he saw my maxed out merlin with nothing from his store on there.
