Advice Please?

i've been playing for a while, but i just recently started getting good stuff for my 98 custom so far i have a drop, a dt, and im about to get a rt, now what i need to know is where can i find a 14'+ barrel for my tippmann with the spiral grooves in it thts not to expense? i found one at acadmey sports and outdoors, but i didnt have the money with me to get it and it had no name on it, i just need a good one.

not sure why you want a barrel with "sprial grooves" or perhaps you mean rifling. If so just look around for used Hammerhead kits. I dont often suggest upgrading a tippmann, but if its a gun you plan on never getting rid of and want to drop the money into it despite almost neglagible performance increase then so be it. Hammerheads are best if u want rifled, if not then just get a barrel that gives u options of atleast .684/5 .687/8 .689/90 and you'll be set. May be some good deals on barrel kits on online retailers. Alot of the less popular thread types sell for less.

thanks and i didnt really know what it was called so i put spiral and yea im gonna have the tippmann for a while

cp 1 piece = $30 and come in all different lengths. Probably the best bang for the buck in the barrel category. Not much you can do to improve it beyond a good barrel.
