I have been shopping for a marker for sometime and I had decided on the Spyder Mr2 w/EYES. I really like the look, the auto and burst modes, the stock and sight rails, and the EYES feature. But now I hear that it's been discontinued. Does anyone know why this is? I can't even find it on eBay. So I guess my next step is to pick a new marker. Does anyone know of anything in that price range that has similar features? The spyder electra seemed ok but I really like having the shoulder stock.

Save your money and buy a Proto SLG. It will blow any spyder or tippmann out of the water. If you really want a milsim marker go with Tippmann. They will last you forever

As much as I hate to say it... being a semi loyal fan of Kingman's for a while, I agree with distorted. A friend of mine has let me borrow his MR2 for months now (he just doesn't have the money to play anymore) and though the thing is wonderfully accurate with the right paint, it has serious issues with jamming or not fully recocking at higher bps. The bolt simply seems to stay forward for whatever reason. Granted, this MR2 does NOT have eyes which I suppose could make a potential difference with the jamming, you still may end up with the recocking problem. My personal recommendation would be BT, but that's simply because I've never used a Tippmann before. They are remarkably similar in construction as far as I know though, so the performance would likely be very similar.
