Just wondering. My buddy got one with the military package about 6 months ago. Since then they lowered the price to $299. It is a great gun. He has never had any problems with it. Anyone got any tips or good aftermarket parts for it?
BTW the website for the gun is www.usapaintball.com

I have one. The only place I know where to get upgrades is the usa paintball website.

The only other aftermarket part that I was able to find for my Viper was a barrel from BOA, Barrels Of America. This barrel is second to none. It's accurate, quiet, has good distance and was under 100 bucks. You can't go wrong with it. Read some of the reviews on it via pbreview.com. You'll see reviews from other Viper owners that can't say enough about it. With this little addition, I was able to turn the Viper into the best sniper marker I've had to date (I've had six so far). With me getting this barrel, I've sold all my other markers (even my autococker) because this is the only marker I'd need.
I wish USAS (or another company for that matter) would make an eletronic trigger for the Viper. This would increase the sales and popularity of the marker, not to mention beef up one already kick as$ GUN..

damn right dude. vipers rock. im in the process of upgrading mine. ill use my viper when i play rec speedball and stuff. i dont know if i can keep up with hteese 14bps torney dudes, so im considdering a black dragun LCD, or that black dragun sniper edition. they are dirt cheap too dude.i mean i love my viper, had a buddy offer to trade me for his cocker, super fly bolt, wgp double trigger, 32° whisper barrel, rat2 valve, gladiator reg, 12v revvy w/ Xboard and his big POS nitroduck 45k/LT-90ci tank. haha, its funny he spent like 900 bucks on that POS and mine does the job just as good if not better. i can rap off like 6 or 7 bps with my viper.
i bought
a red dot, (i had to) heheh >=-)>
the red dot sits up on my sight rail
the double trigger and 45° frip frame.
set of black dye grips (not the ones with the ***gy iridescint logo) mines flat black
im thinking about a revvy really soon, cause when i fire that fast, i can only do it in bursts or ill get a blank.
and definatly nitro, i seen cross fire screw in preset 45k/68's and 88's for 209 bucks. so im gunna order one of them babies soon.
maybe a drop, flat-black or matte black. gun will look un earthly. hahaha, i love the looks i get on the feild, ("the rich kid carrying his 1800 dollar impact angel, and his 115 dollar a case death paint..ohhh, hahah, hes got a viper, i aint seen one of them in forever....")
they dont ever say that when i bunker em. bahh, what ever, iv always said its the player, not the gun. but a reliable marker sure does help loads. >=-)> key word being RELIABLE.
take it easy fellas
long live viper.
