Hey everybody, I got a question about a psycho ballistics drop-forward on a tippmann model 98 custom. I already have the 90 degree macroline elbow, but I can't install the pieces together. My problem concerns the gas line of the 98. The gas line is steel braided and the macroline 90 degree elbow doesn't accept the size of the steel braiding. I think I need to remove the steel braiding in some way but I don't know how. Any and all comments are accepted, especially if you have done this before.
Thanks
Nick
p.s. tell me the stats on your gun while your at it

I could be wrong, but I thought macroline fittings and elbows were meant to fit only the macrolines themselves, the nylon push to connect hoses, and not the steel braided hoses.

Macroline fittings are for Macroline only...not steel braided hose. You need a standard 90*elbow for steel hoses. The Macroline fittings are useless for your application, unless you have Macroline hose.

Yeah, listen to Mafia. You can't use steel-braided with the macroline fitting. Just get another macroline fitting, then some macroline hose. Macroline is much easier to use than steel-braided anyways; more customizable.
