If your vertical regulator started out in the horizontal(under grip) position would it be diffrent than a 'normal' vertical regulator? In some pictures I noticed the regulator sits farther away from the grip frame...is this why?

(Are my questions annoying you guys?)

EDIT: Rather than make a new thread, what do you guys think of this setup

2002 Blue or Gloss Black Shocker
Turbo board
Vertical feed
88(maybe 68?)/4500 or with a 20oz co2 as backup
Vertical Maxflow
Werm's delrin 2 bolt
Imperial Paintball 2 finger trigger trigger
Black or Blue SP cradle
Freak w/SS back and blue front
Grooved aftermarket grips

It all depends on the type of verticle mount that you use. There is the eclipse mount, which makes the reg look closer to the trigger gaurd and then there is the SP one that makes it stick out a little farther.

MindofSin, We'd much rather you ask questions than remain not knowing. We enjoy being helpful.

As for your purposed set.... I'd drop the Turbo board, I never saw a point in those being that almost all field won't let you play with Turbo on. If anything, get an SF board or keep the stock one and at some point upgrade to a Glacier.

I'm trying to keep things as cheap as possible Te Freak, bolt, and trigger would come later. The blue annodizing I'm still thinking about. I'm still waiting to play with some Shockers so I can make a final descision and no one plays in the winter up here.

But hey, I found Vertical feed Eclipses at Unlikely Heroes for $1735(Canadian). Too steep for me but still nice to know they're available.
