Howd yall get ya (paintball) names?

Just wondin, i mean wonderin. i just took smart parts (hence, MY GUN!) and paintball
-SMARTparts -paintBALL=SMARTBALL.

just a little info for any of you out there who thought this whole time whether i was claiming to be really smart or not, no i'm just you average student, most of the time ;)

so how did everyone else get their name? theres some pretty interesting names here errr, interesting, i guess.....

Well, people started calling me the flash after they say me run in grade school..i was on track team etc. It just seemed to carry over into paintball..newbies and teammates started calling me "theflash" or "flash".

Watupi was just a joke name I got when I used an internet name generator to convert my "White mans lable" to my "African homeland name". Just a joke.

Crash is the what I get called on the field. That carried over from my dirtbiking days, if you can imagine why. It doesnt only apply to paintball, either. I use Crash more than I do my real name.

i used to skate alot, and when i first went to the local skatepark i did a trick where you do a kickflip throw your shoes off in the air and land back ont he board bare foot. some1 asked me the name of the trick and i replied simon woodstock kickflip (simon woodstock is a proskater who i saw do the trick in a video) people though i named it after myself so they called me simon, they all now my name is brett but simon stuck, so i use it instead of my real name 'cuz i like it better.

Muckraker is a term applied to investigative reporters. It's origins go back to the 20s and 30s when reporters started taking on the giant business conglomerates, Standard Oil and the like ... Anyway, one of the Robber Barons started calling the reporters Muckrakers, because they were "Stirring up so much Sh*t." Myself, I worked as a reporter for a number of years and stirred some up myself, plus, I figured hardly anyone had ever heard of it.

for me it all began when me and my friend were bored and just thinking up random stories and I made up the main character whos name was Alejandro el Mexicano, well I thought that I was a genius with that name and started to use it when I played Counter-Strike (wow I have some life) then Alejandro evovled into Crazy Julio, I chose Crazy Julio now because it flows better and is just pointless.

Well I forgot why I got this name, so I will tell something that goes along with it. Whenever I play, I always get bored of everyone just sitting there shooting at the other people that are hiding behind other trees, so I run around, or ATTACK, but I'm always one of the first people to get SPLATted because I'm easier to hit when I run around alone and charge the enemy base. So there it is.

In heraldry, a Martlet is a bird that doesnt have any feet, so it is cursed to continually fly forever. So I started playing the internet game Subspace and we had to name our ships. I named my two accounts Buff Martlet and Red Martlet. (Buff is a color too) So everyone on the game started referring to me as Buff Martlet. So on my e-mail and all i used martlet......... and it just friggin stuck.

Now I started playing paintball on a regular basis about 3 years ago, and some of the guys on my team just showed up one day with Martlet 10 on my new Team Nutz jersey.

The one comes from me trying to keep track of my 2 email accounts. One for work, and one for private stuff.

now that is a long run for a short slide.

My story isn't that boring :)
My name is Rock...and DamnRock isn't my paintball name, it's my name for everything related to internet, Irc, email, websites, newsgroups...I've always went by DamnRock online. I got it cause 6 years ago when I got my first pc, AOL had 5 hour free trials (5 whole hours a month)...and I got one and was trying to pick a name with rock in it and I couldnt' find one that was cool, so I started typign curse words followed by rock, started with f**krock, bit**rock, etc etc, and finally, DamnRock worked.

Its been my name ever since. You'd be amazed how many forums and online memberships I can't get because I use DamnRock as my nick. I was kicked off of Microsofts Online Gaming site until I would change my nick, which I never did.

Name is fitting, kinda funny how many times people actually precede my name with Damn... "Damn Rock, How'd you do taht" ...etc etc

Well that is the name use on this boared. It eas given to me in High School. For several reasons...
1. I would sit in class and stare into the walls like I was in a daze cause my first two years of publice school were boring since I attened Private school before hand.
2. It was a my tag name when I was being a bad boy.
3. I am small so when I was picked on I would tell people that I was gonna knock then into a DAZE.

Now a days..
I am called ELFKIN but the other refs at Thunderbay. We were cracking on each other one day and I had a beanine hat on it was pushing my ears down and someone made a joke about it. Now everytime I get to the field they ask me where the tender loving cookies are. HA HA HA...

When I get my jersey I am putting Elfkin on the back of it since I can only have my team name on the back of my other one.

WEll on the field people call me Al, my real name is Alex so Al is just the first syllable, plain and simple.

On the internet i am reffered to as pr0kch0p, someone from the counter-strike forums starting calling me that, well he told me to go eat a mcpr0kch0p so i just took off the mc and got pr0kch0p, like porkchop but its pr0kch0p, this also comes from saying pr0n instead of porn. like i like to look at goat pr0n not goat porn :D

So they applied the Y in Spyder to my position on the team, sniper. I was put in that position to be out of the way i suppose, no one ever thought i'd hit anybody, HA HA HA!!

I was nicknamed Tack while in the Police Acadamy. I was always the Gung-Ho type who could shoot and fight. Like Eugene Tackelberry from the comedy Police Acadamy. They used to call me rambo because I used to carry almost 2000 rounds on me every game and carry a marker that looks more like an assault rifle then a paintball marker.
