Whats a O-Ring
Gibralter

It is a rubber ring that is used to make a seal (sp?). Like on a CO2 tank, the O-ring is there so when you screw in the tank, all the gas doesn't leak out. When you unscrew the tank, the o-ring is able to prevent the leaking because the gas escapes around it.
O rings are rings for sealing all connections which the gas goes through.

Exactly, I think thats THE common joke in paintball! (Actually, it's time for me to go out and buy more, and I've NEVER used mine, I always end up loaning them to teammates and friends.)

Ya, those are actually the ones I use. Those are for CO2 tanks...(or hpa presets) though. If your talking about the ones that are on the bolt or what have you, those you should use only the ones that come with the marker, or replacement ones. I have used co2 orings in a pinch before, but they never work to well.
