I've ghillied my M98 also when I'm playing woods/high grass. What have I done? Took strips of burlap and wrapped the gun. Not too tightly, because loose burlap hanging from the gun REALLY breaks up the outline. I also took 1" threads of burlap from when I shredded my ghillie suit and shoo-gooed them to an extra hopper I had so it looks like a clump of grass. Breaks up the outline of your hopper VERY effectively. Another thing you can do is cammo paint or cammo anodize your Tippy M98. That, in conjunction with ghilling the marker makes for a hard marker to spot. Which is good if you're playing stealthily. :) Which is what I like to do...

Is that worth the cost?

Is what worth the cost? Annoing, or using the burlap? Annoing is merely for looks...I admit.

Burlap...is THAT worth the cost? Well, considering how dirt cheap burlap is...I'd say "yes".

Or save your money and use burlap, which is just as good. ;)

what ever works for you but, burlap gives off a lot of lint wich can get in your bolt:( sniper skins are water resistant but burlap is not and then you have all the time doing the burlap thing and well
... i will just see ya in the woods when you are done!!

No. You won't. That's just it. ;)

Never had a problem with lint in my bolt...and I don't play in the rain so I'm really not concerned about getting my Tippy wet. *shrugs*

To each his own I suppose. Not tryin' to put ya down. I'm just plain cheap. (Hey, when you're saving for a downpayment for a house, you just started investing in your retirement fund, and you took out a large life insurance policy, ya gotta save money SOMEwhere.)
