I want all your honest opinions. I know the vision system worth getting. Or should I just get a normal one? Give me your feed back guys.

I wish I had vision, so, in my opinion, get it

If your not sure if you want it or not, buy an Impulse without the Vision and see if you are chopping balls or not. If not then you just saved yourself about $150. If you are, then all the newer impulses are Vision Ready and all you have to do is buy the Vision Kit and install it.

basically what was just said above, but if you outshoot say, a 12V revvy, then get vision, otherwise there is no point, the stock impulse is an excellent marker

I know its not a popular upgrade with impies, but what about a warp feed? its about as much as a vision, makes the gun lower in profile, and feeds really fast. Would this also be a vialbe option for not chopping?

I say don't get a vision unless you already have a vff (or tapeworm, etc.), a new trigger or frame, and a delrin bolt. Once you have all that then get a vision eye if you want one.

save your money with the vision....

and buy a warp feed... because then u KNOW you wont chop and u have just lowered your profile a ton

You can chop with a warp, I've done it before plenty of times.

i have had 3 impulses now and have never chopped all that much. impulse do not chop if set up correctly. just make sure you have an x-board or turbo board and turn the rof down. i have mine around 11 and it still fires like it was at stock rof.

Dont get the vision. I have not chopped a ball yet, and I do get on my trigger pretty hard. A friend of mine has a vision imp and i rip off more balls then he does and he chops like mad with his vision. He also has to worry about the paint he buys to make sure the vision will work. Just get a 12vlt revy with a WAS board and you should be set.

If he has a Vision Imp and is chopping it is not set up correctly. I would guess that they are barrel breaks and not chops.

The Vision system works as designed. I upgraded to it for a reason!

I have my ROF as high as it will go with my vision. I have never chopped a ball once. I have a halo on top and that is the only hopper that wouldn't make my gun skip shots due to lack of feeding speed. Go with the vision because you can get your gun up to as fast as you want and you wont chop.

I have never found any "quality" paintballs that did not sit well with my vision. And ive tried ALOT of paint.

I heard the vision has a problem is that if you have different colored paint. You have to into your gun and make sure it is picking up the colors?

Yeah, you pretty much took the words outa my mouth. I was going to go with a vision then I saw it test fired one. And read all these posts. If I find it nessesary I will get a vision board later. But I am also keeping my mind open to other stuff. Does anyone have a link to get one? So I can see the prices?

While I'm asking, I'm buying a imp with a vert. Reg think its a good investment?

I have a normal impulse and i have played with it 3 times so far and havent broken any balls. As long as you have a 12v your ok. BUT, I told my mom to get me the vision system for easter anyway cause thats all i could think of at the time. And it's cool to brag that your gun is all high tecked out.

it depends on how fast you can shoot. i can remember times whe i forgot to turn my vision on. and i would chop because i have a wicked fast trigger finger. i think the vision board is worth it, especially if you play tourney ball.
