I just recently got a job and will start saving up for random things. I was thinking maybe in a year or so if i really get into paintball(like tournys or stuff) i will by ethier a.)automag b.)autococker. Now my personality for my gun is i like to tinker around with them and see its insides but don't want something thats going to screw me over at the feild(i just wannna play).So i have a conflicting choice here. I like mechinics and all but i want something that will be ready for the feild(im split between the auto's).Whats your guys thoughts? Im tottaly open and i really don't care about upgrades, face it, automags/cockers are equal in upgrades(you just have to look around for the little mags)

I think most experienced paintballers will agree that mags and cockers are comparable and on par with each other.

With that said. It depends on your playing style. If you are a pointman, front kinda player.. I'd recommend the micromag rt, smallest of the mags with the power of RT, and its the lightest mag cause the body is aluminum, not a steel tube.

But then there is the "feel" issue. Some really like the feel of a cocker and the way the trigger feels. Others really like mag triggers.

Go to your local proshop and try to test shoot both. Just pick what you like more.

thanks for the info but still open for thoughts. I will be heading to the proshop soon to get a new barrel for my vtl
