I play in alaska only veiwloaders freeze becuase they are crap and when they do it hurts like a b$#%@ so we don't get them anymore. And watch out paintballs can go through light snow and bases may fall over in the summe when the snow does melt.

I don't like it too much. 1. You can see where everyone went, 2. It's hard to move fast in snow if there is more the 6".

Heh, my cousin used to live in Barrow, Alaska for a while. You guys hired him to work as a Chiropractor.

Anyways, what kind of paintballs do you use? RPS Polar Ice? Thats what I use during the winter.

Its great to play during winter. Wear all white and bury yourself in the snow.

I live in Fairbanks, there isn't as must paintball as in other states because you can't play all year round.

I use blaze, but I don't play in really cold weather.

I live in NorthPole. Help organize some games there. Wouldn't play at Ft. Wainwright though if I were you. I tried organizing a game for my unit and the head honcho at Range Control informed me that as "As long as I am here, there will be NO recreational use of Splinter Village". the consequences are: 1st offense; fortfieture of all equipment, with NO hopes in seeing it again. 2nd offense; fortfieture of all equipment, charged with trespassing on a FEDERAL INSTALLATION, with a possiblity of 5 years. It's not worth it.

I hear Eilson has a speedball field but I have never been there.

For pics of paintball in Alaska goto http://www.polarpaintball.com . There you will see the rules that we play by and some pics of this seasons games. Feel free to contact me for any info.
