Okay I have a pro carb and the place where the stainless steel hose screws into the gun is stripped. The gas fitting won't screw in because the port on the gun is stripped. Does anyone know how to fix this? please help

I looked on the tippman site and a new pro carb body is like 90 some dollars and there is no way I'm paying that.

Can I use some type of metal fill or something? LMK

try to put electrical tape on the inside where it is stripped. then screw it in . it should be tight

the best thing i can recommend for you is to call tippmann and have them fix it. they will do it for cheap or free.

you could buy a helicoil and install it (advanced)
or tyou could buy some of that loctite thread repair stuff (hardware stores). never tried it so i cant be sure of the quality

take it to your local pball shop and they can retap the thread for you prob for around 3 or 5 bucks

Thanks for the help everyone. I think I'm gonna try my local shop to re-thread it, but I am not sure cuz they are such cheap basstards and they will probably try and rip me off. Once they tried charge me 5 bucks to screw in an x chamber and 10 bucks to teflon something(this was like 2 years ago, and I'm smarter now).

DO you think Tippmann would fix it for free if I paid shipping?????????

Call them and find out... that'd be the surest way to find out...
