Ok, this past saturday at the field I had half a case. Each time i got a fill i filled to about 3500psi. I had to fill 2 times with half a case and I had 1000psi left over at the end of the day. I am running at about 170psi at 280fps. How is my effiency?

Assuming you ran your tank dry, or nearly dry after the first fill:

3500+3500=7000psi. Minus the 1000 you have left, that = 6000psi.

6000psi divded by 1000 balls = 6psi per ball shot.

3000psi fills usually get in the ballpark of 10 shots per psi. You arent doing great, but it isnt very bad either.

Is your gun new? If so, give it some time for all the springs and orings to break in, you really will see a huge difference after a few cases get put through it.

You could turn your pressure up a bit, and lower your dwell for better efficiency, just dont go over 200psi. I'd say put your max flow to 180-185 and turn down your dwell to adjust the velocity back down to 280fps.

If you really want better efficiency, get an LPR mod. With this you can turn your pressure up higher, say 245psi and keep your solenoid pressure around 100psi. With this you can shorten your dwell a whole lot, giving you MUCH better shot counts.

I say wait it out for now, put some more paint through the gun. Then if you are still looking for better shot counts, do some of the things I suggested. Also, paint to barrel match is a factor of effciency, if the ball is too small for the barrel your shot count will not be very good at all.
