I am looking for a good speedball marker. I have a 98 custom and found that it was a little long for speedball (though it is excellent for wood games)...

Could anyone recommend a marker that is prefferably under $400 dollars.... I can go higher but wish not to.

-Thanks:D

EM-1 if you can afford nitro. It is only $250 now and will shoot nice with a new barrel and revy. For $400 you could get an Impulse. Maybe you could find a used impy on ebay or somewhere for under $400. Cockers are good too but they aren't that great stock.

Does it only run on Nitro?

Who else thinks the EM-1 is good for speedball and why (you must have used the em1 before)?

-Thanks Again:D

All markers can run on CO2, but if you got a good one, why use a cheap propellent? I haven't try it.

I'd Say flash with 12v. it can run on Co2 and with a good barrel and hopper u can do 13 bps witch is well over what u would want to do. PLus they are good for woods ball too. but everyone is gonna say cocker and i'd have to agree if u don't plan on upgrading.

Bushmasters, EM1s, angels, and rt automags can't use co2 (at least not with out expensive upgrades). Also, some regulators won't work with co2.

Like anti-siphon an impy can run off that well. Only about 50 bcuks but thats almost a small HPA tank

If you have a good marker why would you use CO2?

I have shot an EM-1 before and I was pretty impressed. That was when it was $450 or so. Now it is only $250 which is a great deal for an electro-pneumatic gun.

AK-You can use CO2 on any gun but you will need expensive upgrades and you risk blowing the solenoid and voiding the warranty on electros and on the RT mag it will freeze very fast.
