Hey, I went to play on saturday with my imp and a lot of balls were breaking. I can't tell if I was choping them or they were just breaking in the barrel. I have a 12v without an x board and just use the stock progressive barrel. I knew I broke a few with just single shots so chopping wasn't the problem all of the time. I have never had this happen to me before. I usually use zap paint and never break balls but on saturday when I played I shot marbelizers and they broke. (is was also f**king cold out) was it just because it was cold and the marbs have thin shells. what should I do. Is a new barrel a good idea, maybe a boomstick or a freak? please help.

Well look on your bolt for some paint.
Otherwise, yeah, it was because it was cold out- paint gets EXTREMELY brittle. I remember I played on December 26th and my paint was comming out like confetti.
Your gun is probably fine. Just work on a better paint to barrel match and play when it's warmer. Also try thicker shelled paint.

there was also some paint on my bolt. it is weird because my friend was using his cocker which shoots at a higher psi and he was not breaking any balls.

You should always test the paint to your bore match. If the paint was too big it would be breaking.
It sounds like the cold was making the paint brittle and that broke some in the barrel, I dont doubt you also chopped too, but it was probably a barrel problem.

The paint might have also been a little to small for the barrel which sometimes may cause paint to break. I am guessing that it was probably the cold weather that caused the paint to break.
