(I have one, by the way, and love it)

Shape
Its about what it looks like. Not as tall as a Bushy, not as long as an Angel. Overall, its fairly compact. Its not a very pretty gun, though. Its not ugly, but you wont be winning a beauty contest with it. The ano isnt really a true black. In a certain light, it can be a brown/eggplant color. But, that usually just indoors. Outside, in the sunlight, its looks jet black.

Trigger
Almost identical to an Angel trigger. This coming from a previous Angel owner, too. I cant tell much of a difference between the two. The trigger adjustment points are similar, but not exactly the same. The micro switches are also too similar to compare.

Weight
Rumor is that it weighs about as much as a brick...and thats not a lie. Although, its the stock LE grips that do it. Theyre pretty and all, but ungodly heavy. But, Diablo has started putting rubber grips on stock guns now. And, LCD Angel grips will fit Matrices, too.

Efficiency
Its right up there with a Shocker. I get anywhere between 550-600 shots from my 68ci 3k. This is the real downfall of the marker. But, Aardvark Paintball will go into production of a more efficient bolt once the 1000th Matrix is sold. And belive it or not, the bolt is the reason for the efficiency problem. Dave explained the whole thing to me in one of the longest conversations Ive ever been in. Basically, the stock bolt moves slowly, thus using (wasting) air when fired. The newer bolt will move fast, so less air will be wasted.

Upgrades
Jay at Synergy has some nice ASAs, and is almost done with his Synergy milling.

Aardvark Paintball has the most in the way of upgrades. A Trinity mod is a dual regulation mod that will use a LP reg to lower the bolt pressure to the point that the bolt cant chop a ball. They also make Enigma low rises, LVCs, are almost done with replacement breaches, ASAs, select fire chips, and several other things.

SiN stocks several Aardvark products. You can see them at http://www.sincustom.com as will as SiNs own low rise.

Internals
There are three moving parts: bolt, trigger, solenoid. Its a very simple design that uses a spool valve like that of the Novas. Because of its simplicity, its reliable. I havent ever had problems with mine yet.

Inline reg
The inline is made by Centerflag, and is very consistant and high flow. The only downside is that its ugly as sin to most people. I dont think its that bad, but I replaced it with a Max Flow anyway.

Barrel
Stock barrel on the older versions were .689 CPs. The newer ones have .68? J&Js. Both of them look nifty, and have Matrix laser engraved into the sides.

Overview
Its a bare bones electro that competes with the best, but doesnt have any of the usual toys that come with others in its class. No fire modes, no LCD, no milling. Its an Angel without makeup.

I probably missed a few things you want to know about. Just point them out to me.
