Hey Guys! I can't decide whether or not to get a remote setup. What do you guys think? What are the pros and cons of each? Thanx. --Harrison

Remote will make the gun lighter but make youu harrness heavier. A on gun setup will let you tuck in better to your bunker. It depends on your style, it might be helpful or might not.

So if i dont get a remote, would you suggest just a better drop foward?

Is there anything wrong with your current drop?

Remote is especially nice if you're running CO2, but it's more about what kind of game you play. If you play in dense woods, remote is a bad idea because it will snag on things. If it's mostly open or on a field, go for it.

Are you a front player or a guy that moves around alot? DF's are good for helping you to tuck in because the with tank smaller. Remotes don't give that much manuver ability.

First of all, my current drop foward is just the stock one that came with my Spyder Shutter. I play in both open fields, and woods, but in the woods there are many paths and such. Im not just running through dense forests...

If you find that the gun weights you down then get the remote. This for your style of play.

So pretty much, if I feel my gun is heavy, get a remote. Otherwise, dont. If I decide not to get a remote, would you suggest getting a good drop foward?

I h8 remotes I like to rest my tank on my shoulder.
You would be shacking ur gun if you cant rest it unless you have steady hands.

Also the coil much be a ***** and what if you put ur gun down off goes the pack or take out the tank of the belt, too anoying.

remotes are good for CO2, iv used a remote before and didnt like it, because your harness would bounce when you run, and plus it looks ugly :)

See its really what you feel like. I will get a remote for the opinion of my carring my gun around on long games.
