hey...i see some sites that have scuba fill stations for like 50 bucks...does that fill my tank, or do i have to have a bigger compressed air tank to fill it plus the fill station??? i'm confused.

you need a source of air first. Say a 50lb tank filled with compressed air or N2. Then you also need the fill station which attaches to your source tank. to flow into your Nitro tank I think. Im not too sure though

yep you need either a scuba tank or you can get a compressed air tank for a welding shop for like $10 buck then just take it back and trade it in, but you only get around a 2500psi fill, and you need a fill station

This is probobly a dumb question but,

Could you fill up a propane tank with CO2?

I dont think a scuba fill station will work with a compressed air tank from a welding shop. Two different valve styles. Scuba fill stations are made to fit on a yoke valve which comes standard on most scuba tanks. I'm not sure what type of valve system welding tanks come with.

i dont know where the kid got it from but the fill station had two valves and a remote with a quick disconect. i belive that he bought it some where, but yes it is a different fill station than that of a scuba fill station

you can order a scuba tank from the internet for about 150, and a fill station for 50. i'd just go to a dive shop and get an old tank for cheap, they'll fill it for like 3 bucks then order the fillstation on the internet
