:freak: I've been absent from Paintball for about technically 6 years now. There are MANY new things out. I am interested in purchasing a new marker. What Autococker models come ready with N2 setup? Or what do I need to purchase to upgrade a cocker (or another marker) to N2? With the N2 set-up, I'm I able to use CO2 or compressed air without changing anything over? This technology is all new to me. Any and all help is appreciated!

if you really want a culture shock, pick up an electro.

they are getting cheaper, and are so much faster than other markers.

I dont exactly know what you are talking about N2 setup...
any marker can be run off N2 nowadays.
some, however, cant be run off of co2 (bushmasters, angels, tribals, etc, etc)

welcome back to the sport.

how much money are you looking to spend.
I am aware that Shocktech offers a tricked out autococker with 68/3000psi n2 tank and a 12v revvy for about a grand.
shocketch autocockers are some of the best out there.

give us a price range.

I've been checking the Shocktech site, and seen a few things that has interested me. Money situation is a problem but not major. I am trying to get the old team together and get a few new guys in. If I can get a suitable amount of players I'll spend $1000, if not and only a few are able to play regularly, no more than $500 including full gear besides for my mask that I still have. One of my best guys joined a local team, Zero Tolerance-Red, and I've played with them a few times (no tourneys), and I have a ticket in there as long as I get and electro with N2. I might just stick with my 98 if all else fails and play rec-ball for a year. Sup-fields are new to me too, played once on one practicing. Thanks.

a great marker for $500, probably the best deal around, is an impulse from www.e-paintballoutlet.com.
impulses cost around $400, but for $500, you get a finley tuned deal with a voodoofullflow (eliminates bolt stick.... a problem for some electros), a blade trigger with a trigger job (very nice, light triggers, very short) and a vertical maxflow reg (probably the best regulator on the market) you could shoot either co2, or nitro through that.

it is a great setup.

other markers to look at (electronic ones, anyways) are the bob long intimidator, the diablo matrix (what I shoot... I love it), the Angel LCD (hands down, probably the best marker on the planet).

those would be my recomendations. (the most popular tournament markers... outside of the autococker)
actually, about 70% of all tournament players shoot angels.
if you could afford one, get one.

the autocockers I would recomend are:
shocktech, black magic, or freeflow.
those, I think, would be your best choices.
the average price for those could range between $500 to over 2,000.

if you need any more info, let me know.

ohh... hoppers and air tanks you should look into:
hoppers, my recomendation would be the ricochet 2k. (they are great. taking the tournament scene by storm... more and more people are using them)

nitro tanks would be either the PMI pure energy, if you are strapped for cash, or higher end ones such nitroduck (what I use), air american tanks, smart parts maxflow tanks, angel AIR, dynaflow, macdev gladiator, the list goes on.

nitro tanks can cost you from anywhere between $90, to over $500.
