Need moderator's help

A couple of weeks ago, I purchased a spyder shutter that was advertised by someone on this website. He agreed to send me the gun, hopper, elbow, and parts kit for $150. Later, on the phone, we agreed that I would include an extra $10 to go towards shipping. I sent him the check for $160 and all he sent me was the gun, nothing else. I e-mailed him asking about the other stuff, and he said his mom is not going let him send it because the shipping cost him so much(I think he said it was like $20 total). So now I'm short a hopper, elbow, and parts kit. What I'm wondering is if I could get any help from this site. Even if theres no chance I could get the stuff or the money to buy it myself, it would still make me happy if he got kicked off this site so he couldn't screw anybody else over. If theres any way you could help me, please post a reply on this site or feel free to email me. Thanks.

I am sorry to hear about that. I do not believe there is much that pbreview can do for you. Is there a bad traders list in the forum? List him there. My best advice is to call his parents and let them know the situation. If you have anything in writing, e-mails, PM's, send them to the parents and the police.

There are 3rd party programs that hold the money untill you are satisifed with the product, but they cost extra. I use a company called PayPal to send money, then there is a record of the transaction and PayPal will work to make sure get what was promised.
