I've enjoyed reading your inciteful and often helpful suggestions concerning Shockers. Your comments carry some weight as someone who knows what they are talking about when some advice is needed for a new shocker owner.
BUT PLEASE, are you really paying $25 for your smart parts batteries. REALLY. Because everywhere I see them they are $10.
Thanks

Try imperialpaintball.com They make very good products for the shocker and impulse.
FYI- I have heard that you can damage your board with a 9 volt battery. The shocker is designed to take 7.8 or something like that. I have yet to hear from anyone that actually has damaged their board from a 9v though.

I have some 9volt conversions for sale for $5 shipped. I can take paypal or money order.
Also when people say that the 9volts can fry your board that is just a rumour. I e-mailed Imperial Paintball about the topic and they told me that they would not sell them if it damaged the gun.
I'll try one of those for $5.00. Give me your paypal acccount address and stand by for payment.

You guys wanna know how to build a 9 volt conversion. Very easy. Go buy some of the nine volt battery connectors form your friendly neighborhood radio shack. Then take a dead smartparts battery. Then cut the connector off of the dead SP battery and soldier that connector to the nine volt connector and there you go. Thats all the are selling you, a nine volt connector and a special clip to connect to your board. I have done it. It works and its just like any other nine volt conversion. And if you are worried about voiding your warranties, trust me...if you have ever touched your marker, the warranty is shot.:D

Exactly thats what I did. Don't say it will damage the board because its not different from teh one you will buy. (Sorry, it's been talked about before)

9volt conversion for $10 is a total rip off!!! :pissed:
this is what you do:
1. cut off the battery connector from the depleted shocker battery.
2. buy a pack of 9 volt battery connectors from radio shack for $1.99 or cut it off a clock radio or anything that use a 9volt battery.
3. match the black and red wire from #1 and #2 above.
that's ALL there is to a 9volt conversion kit for yout shocker!!!!

With the voltage thing laid to rest has anyone placed a recharge plug anywhere that wasn't too bad. I would like to plug my shocker in other power makers. Any pics or ideas????

You mean like a recharable battery? Sure, I guess you could just drill a hole on the back of the frame, or the body...depending on how you wire it.
