By "droping forward" the airsource, you shorten up the length of your setup, and possibly improve balance.

because it moves your tank out of the way and lets you have a more balanced gun, and it also alows you to play much more tight.

i have one and love it i moves your gun alot closer to you and lets you see right down the barrel and you can lessen your profile behind a bunker

It doesn't directly improve performance.. Its a fancy asa adapter. It just makes your setup more comforatble, and can make it easier for you to tuck your self in and reduce your profile, and would indirectly improve your performance.
