Pirahna STS G2 or Spyder Xtra

I am going to be purchasing my first gun this weekend. After reading through this forum, i am having second thoughts about my decision to buy a spyder xtra. Both of these guns got really good reviews from what i have read and they both are well with in my price range.

Comments are appreciated.

always go piranha over spyder, everyone i know including me like piranhas better. the internals of the gun are WAY better

Get the spyder extra. It's the sickest gun in that price range. I'm talking under $280. I shot this gun and it was almost competing with my cocker. And all my friend did to it was put a bigger x-chamber on it and buy a $30 bolt. The stock barrel isn't even that bad 1 break out of 1000 shots. Although the stock barrel is a little loud it is still one of the best stock barrels I have seen on a gun in this price range. If your smart you will get the Spyder Xtra. Trust me you will not regret it. If this were a year ago and the Xtra was not realesed yet, I would say get a piranha but now I am faithful to kingman again.

And rhino have you even seen both guns preform. If you haven't seen the xtra you are probably saying to buy the piranha because you have one. Let me tell you, your not helping that kid out at all then. You are just telling him that you and your friends like piranhas better for some reason that the internals are WAY better. Absoulutley not true. One of my other friends does have one of those piranhas and let me tell you his gun did not come close to the performance of my cocker and yet the Xtra did. Maybe because it was stock but still. They both paid around the same price cause my stupid friend bought one of those expensive piranhas with anodizing. Hmm.... well its your decision get which on you like better because they are basically the same gun.

def get the xtra. my brothers stock barrel competes with my 14 inch boomstick (i almost broke it in half when i saw his stock barrel lol)

Best gun under $280?!! So ur comparing the xtra to a piranha pro.... sorry as much as i like the xtra it just doesn't go that far. As far as sts to xtra, get the xtra, it has all the stock options that u need. The sts is a great gun, but for the price the xtra is just a better buy

xtra is also good cuz if you were to buy cpmpact and upgrade it to a xtra you would pay prob around 300...estimate

Xtra's are awesome, go shoot one and try to argue, as they said above it compares to a cocker. Not gonna diss pirhanas cause i've never shot one but this gun is the SH**.
