scratches in the internalk honing will off set the pballs rotation and give it spin, the spin affects the way it flies. Lack of porting does not allow turbulence behinfd the paintball to settle, so the air attempts to push its way around the ball, some times crushing it, others simple messing up the flight path with that spin. A bore that changes size from large to small fill also crush the paint ball, or warp its size, so the paintball will catch the wind yet again setting it off flight
(now who should be a mod for this forum?)
