Should Automatics Be allowed on the Field?

i say yes because if u dont want to play against auto's,then get into a different division.(at my field,some pump players play against full autos,and beat them)

Yes, banding Full Auto is like ahving the pump players go semi is to much of a disadvantage and banning semis.

well I still don't get the "spray and pray" method of paintball......what skill is really involve with aiming and hosing a bunker full auto.....


I say ...BAN THEM......or put them in their own class....like the pumps have.....then you have a choice if you want to go against them with your semi......

Remember....this is just my opinion.....I am sure you have your own......

my local field allows you to use any mode you want, which was almost a mistake, but hardly anyone has any full autos around here, its all mags and cockers.....

but there should be a class for full auto and all other modes, so your snap shooters can use burst, you back players full etc...

Interesting question ... I'm not all for Auto in Rec play, especially against the walk-on and weekend warrior type that come out. I think it gives the folk with full auto an unfair adavantage ... or course now, if the teams are even, and there's full auto folk on both teams, then I guess that's OK.

I like the idea of a full-auto class in tournaments ... again, I think the full auto, burst and turbo modes give the user an unfair advantage against semis.

But hey, that's just me.

i dont like the idea of full auto b/c u could really get some hurt against a full auto. it would give u some nasty welts for sure.

They can go play with themselves! I doubt that any player has enough control to stop shooting so as that an opponent gets hit less then 10 times! ITs too much! Why do you need to fire that much? Do ya svck that bad? But then again it is way fun to take out an auto with a pump! Challenging too

i say no to f/a. It is a complete disadvantage...and it requires no skill to use..you sit there and hold a trigger down..

I came around a group of rocks and ran right into one .He unloaded on me I turn my back and haul ***.only 3 broke.I feel if a guy is using auto in a outlaw rec game in the real woods not a field where you pay to play then he isn't that good and using auto,too make up for lack of skill,You guys with auto's dont take this wrong unless you fit the bill.If you don't ,don't get pissed.

Having an auto definitely doesn't mean you have skill, but it does pose a challenge and if that means I have to be a better player then the other guy then so be it.

I voted yes cause, the store owner, will make alot of $$$ playing when a player will play with an automatic! Autos are expensif to play with! one trigger pull, around 3 paintball shoots out and i think auto are better when playing speedball because games last about 5 min max, but when u are playing a scenario or... semis are better
