This is kind of stupid but does an impulse require you to time it (like a Autococker 2K).
And is an impulse a good tourney gun?
Impulse was designed for tournies!!!!
In terms of timing, sorta. Its nothing like an autococker.
There are dip-switches(like in a garage door opener) in the contoller board that control "dwell" time.. most of the time you don't even have to touch 'em. But its explained in the manual.

Dip switches? hahahahahaha. No it has a little ummmm POT on the side of the gun (a little hole exposes it) which you turn. It only needs to be set at 1-2 right out of the box and never needs to be touched again

On field stripping pull the bolt pin and pull the bolt. clean the barrel and reinstall.Real fast. The dwell on this marker needs to be set as the marker is broke in.SP sets them to op perfomace new.So out of the box there already set up.Wear and tear as time goes on you'll have too reset it.

I've taken most of it apart. It's really simple. Haven't taken the reg apart though.
