i mostly play in the woods, i have a 98 custom, so would it be better for me to get a drop forward or a remote?
*a little off topic sorry*
what is the difference between male and female, inline and sideline regulators. I am gonna get a palmer stabilizer and i would like to know which is the best/easiest to set up?
thanks

Since you play woods, I'd go with the drop forward. Remotes have a nasty proclivity to get hung up on tree branches and shrubbery.

mimos is right,
we play in the woods alot and have a sweet#ss course, (goto my site for pics) the brush gets real thick and my drop forward really helps. they eliminate the bulky ASA hook up as well as keeping the gun more compact. now mine is a pretty tiny DF but it does the job. i should have spent the extra $15 and gotten the psycho ballistics drop (pic below) u should get it !!!

i have a remote and have never got it tangled on branches or anything like that, and we play in pretty thick woods:eyes:

It would not be outside the realm of plausability to have it not get snaged. But, it is also plausable at the same time to assume that it may get snaged. I used to have on, but I sold it after It got hung up on low branches a few times while chasing people down.

He didn't specter, he said that it never happend to him. then I saidIt would not be outside the realm of plausability to have it not get snaged. But, it is also plausable at the same time to assume that it may get snaged.
Hell....mine got snagged on a few occasions. So this is me tellin' yous it may get caught up. It's a length of hose that hangs rather loosely at your side....if you play enough in thick woods and shrubs- just going by probability here-.....there is a chance that is will get snagged.

my remote isnt long enough to hang loosely but it is tight enough so i wont get snagged, by the way it is a Java remote

maybe mine was just long, I dunno. Not sure of the brand either, I got it off e-bay.

If your remote isn't long and would easyly get sngged then stick with the remote (it doubles as a x-chamber :D :D ) but if it is really loose you could tape it to yourself or something so it doesn't, or you could get a d/f, mine really helped me out, but it's all up to you.

steiny, man I use both I play woods and scenario games. I have the pb drop forward and a remote w/qd and slide check both of these together make a 5in. long steel rod and with the drop forward all that is under the gun and not sticking me in the shoulder. as for the getting hung up thing it happens, but the wear and tear on my body that is saved from removing the bottle weight imo is worth it.

about the palmer stabilizer which i want o so bad go to palmer-pursuit.com and they have the explanation for all thier products imo try the verticle adapter for your gun then the verticle stab and i apologize for mispelling of your name
what kind of gun and setup do you have steny?

If you are too cheap to buy a drop forwad, you can always turn the ASA around so the tank is under the M98. It'll make the total package alot shorter.

I tried that too. (Hey, I'm cheap sometimes. :)) But I found that it doesn't work if you have the a.s.a. with the gasline hole on the front. It will only work with the a.s.a. with the gasline hole on the side. Or a longer hose than the stock one.
