Although it does help, in my opinion a procarbine looks so much better without one. Ive seen a few pics of owners who were able to get rid of the grip part and keep the part that serves as an elbow or whatever. Im thinking about doing this to my marker someday, and I would like to know how I may go about doing it. Can anyone help me?

I too a RotoZip to mine, I cut it off at the seam line after the barrel. I think it looks great and I get tons of compliments. If you have the funds to buy a new one, then go hog wild and let your imagination do the work.

I was thinking I would call tippmann up and see if I could order the forearm grip part from them just in case I screw up or want to put it on again. But I think I get the general idea of how to get rid of the grip part, that little screw hole on both sides that needs to drilled in more right? Is that enough, or will I need to drill yet another hole to keep it on?

I think that's what you're looking for.

Where the big crew on the bottom is, is where the seam line is. With the 2 screws by the hopper neck and the big screw on the bottom, it is strong enough. If you cut it at the seam like I did, it will leave you with the ability to still slide the fore grip, or whats left of it, forward so that you can run a rubber squeegie through the barrel. If you want to cut it closer to the barrel, you will have to add screw holes on the bottom to make it strong enough to hold your hopper. Good luck in whatever you descide.
