I think their should be a standard barrel thread for all guns. Opinions?

wtf. i was screwing in my barrel today and i thought why the hell not, you know? what a coincidence. i absolutley think their should be. but what about mags, they have a wierd barrl erm, "threading" even thats not really what it is. like a clicker thing.

Does anyone think there shouldn't be? Besides mag threads, because they were built to be compact.

yeah thier should be. it would be so great. standard threading is a must IMHO. but who knows.




also kingman should stop making staggered holes. and WGP should make autockockers all black again. sorry, i think the new colored ones look REALLY cheesy.

I was thinking the exact same thing, but doing so would make paintball companies earn less money.

In example, if someone wanted a similar barrel in 2 or more types of gun threads they would have to buy 2 or more barrels in each gun's type of threads (unless they got a barrel adaptor:rolleyes: ) causing them to make MORE profit (greedy *******s:P ). If all barrel threads were universal, companies would only have to sell one barrel to that person and earn LESS profit. All in all, they make it like this FOR THE MONEY.

Hope this makes sense (I know i'm retarded:dunce: ).

Its not that spyder barrels cost less or more Than a cocker etc. Heck my blazer don't even have threads its just slides in and lock it down. Seems that be a better deal for a marker.
But you have Metric threads and Standard threads so who suppose to break down and buy new tooling to match all barrels. there be a price increase just for that.
The only benefit i can see with all having same threads would be , You could try out any barrel to see which ones works the best.
If you want to talk about matching get the paintball makers and barrel makers on the same page. Matching paint to barrels so you don't have all this miss match mess.
