Can anyone tell me the easiest way to get the c-clip off the bottom of a pmi pure energy regulator? I can do it, but I am also scratchign the bottom of my reg all up. Just wondering if there is a special tool for this or what.

there is a tool that removes c-clips.....it is kinda like a pliers ...not sure where you can get one though.....I see them once in a while in tool catologs..and I think JC whitney sells them in their catolog....you can also check a hardware store....or Home depot(doubt home depot will have them)...or even an automotive parts store might sell them..

Ask for C-clip plyers.
