so heres my story from this week

i was playing 1on1 w. my older brother yunno keeping my skils sharp but i see him retreat straight back from his bunker over a hill. so i thought, he thought i didn't see him, so i'm running up about to take his bunker and unexpectedly shoot him off gaurd, when i'm 6 steps from my tree about 10 shots come from directs to my right, it scared the hell outta me, so i frantically trip over my feet, fall to the ground, and roll to a safe position, turns out he ran back or the hill then went 90º to his left so i follow him straight and bang, i have no clue how i got to the bunker unshot.

now lets hear your stories

I was playing last weekend with my brother and 2 of his friends. And to conserve paint we put a flag in the middle of our wood/speedball feild. My brothers friend is the only one left on his team and runs up grabs the flag and starts to run for his base to hang it. Me and my teammate both pop up and start shooting at him. I took one shot and he drops the flag and yells ahh you got me in the @$$. He ended up forfiting after finding out the ball didnt break. We all joked about for a little while. I bet he still has a bruise.

When I was still a newbie, my experienced friend took me and my other friend out to his field he created to help us learn. we played 2 vs 1 my experienced friend being the one. well we played several games. the most memorable game was when my parter was hit so it was down to a 1 on 1 match. My experienced friend had a shockwave and I had a spyder java 2 in 1. we both rushed each other for the same bunker. It came down to a fire fight between the two of us while we were five feet apart. Then I lost my nerve and ran away. As I ran I was shot in the back several times. Ironicly, my opponent was down to those last few balls he shot me with and had I contined with the fight, I would have won.

This happened 2 weeks ago at SC village.

I was on beirut and was able to run up to the 50 on the right tape right off the bat. From there I was holding off 8 guys. Understandable since I was up in the front. But slowly but surely all of my team mates were getting shot out.

Finally my spyder broke down and I was down to single shot. In the end It was me vs 8 guys on the other team, with me shooting single shots. I was able to take 2 guys out before they got me...

sweet! especially since I was able to get it on video...

Your not going to believe me but this was caught on tape. We were playing at out local field and it was out last game for the day. We were playing a "rejuvenation" game (you played until you ran out of paint. Once you were hit you had to go back to your base and start again. and it was a 30min time limit). I was using my mag and there was only like 30 seconds left. There was a guy that had a shot at me behind a spool, but my teammate took him out. I looked at my hopper "Oh, sh*t one ball left." Me and my teammate looked at each other and gave the bunkering sign. Just then he realized he was out of paint! We both jump up and charge their main bunker shooting blanks to scare the people and get them to duck. "Surrender, Surrender!!!" we yell. They yell "OK we give up" YES!!!! we won without any paint at all!!! We noticed the overwelming amount of people coming out of their base...there was 8, and no i am not lieing 8. We have this on tape.

I jacked this story from my other thread in this forum so here it goes........

One day I was with friends having a grand time playing the challenging sport of paintball. 2 kids had M98 with RTs the rest of us had spyders and M98 with not too much done to them....AND ONE STINGRAY....Most people in town are fairly new to the sport and dont move to well yet and dont take the best of cover...so we get burned by the RTs.....Well we played a game and Basic teams were the 2 RTs amoung others and I was on the other team with the lone STINGRAY....Our teams weren't doing too much. I got hit trying to sneak around the other team....then I heard a scream and the RT's unload on something.....After the skirmish.. I had learned that the Lone STINGRAY with its shot-gun like sound, had enough of the low-core play charged up a steep hill directly into RT fire, screaming and running the Stingray went, up up up,he thinks he can he thinks he can.....He took shallow cover behind a bush of some sorts....Then he summoned the balls and courage of the stingray and jumped up screaming and shooting....It probably was a good thing I didn't see it I guess it wasn't pretty watching the poor little stingray getting lit up...But it serves as a model. Sometimes you just have to grab your balls and run in...That concludes the story Balls Story of a Stingray.

If you were mislead by my story, what i meant was our signal. I am not going to reveal our signals our signs to anyone, because we just may play you sometime.

The teams were set up and I ended up with about 4 or 5 guys on my team with cockers. there were about 20-25 people all together on my team vs a team of equal size. I decided to try and work with the guys with cockers figuring they were experienced and that was why they had the better markers. I guessed right. The started yelling right away telling people to move up the left flank as fast as we could to capture empty ground. I was unsure if they were serious or just wanted the newbies to run up and get shot so these guys would know where the other team was. So me and about 5 of these experienced players go up the path on the left flank. One of them drops back a little and moves into the bushes to protect us incase anyone came up behind us as we had pushed forward real far. Me and the 3 other guys were real near the other teams base and knew someone was there because the ref was in the area. One of the guys with the cocker (he was about 18) asked me what I thought we should do. I said we should go through the bushes because if we walk along the path any further we'll have no cover and get hit. He agreed so me and him pushed into the bushes. Almost immediately we came under fire. He told the other two guys to try and flank the two guys who were attacking us. when the other two guys got around to the side of our attacker he stopped shooting at us. I could see his head, gun and part of his upper body sticking out from a big tree. I fired a couple times and missed, but he didn't seem to notice, I fired a couple more times and nailed him. I was proud because it was a long shot, I didn't have a big target and I thought the guys with the cockers might be kinda impressed. Then the guy I was working with did the same thing I had just done to this guy, but I couldn't see who he was shooting at. He thought he had hit him so he starts yelling "Check your hopper" over and over, so the ref goes over and sure enough the hopper had been hit and he was out. We didn't really accomplish anything that game because we were playing football, but it was fun working with guys who knew what they were supposed to do and did a lot of talking. I find I become a much better player when I work with guys who are better player than I or are at least as good, but I'm not really an expert or anything. Sorry about the length of this post hope it was interesting or finally allowed you to get some sleep.

how come you had a paintball shootout when you were playing football? didn't the guys on the other team get pissed when you just started shooting them with paintball guns in the middle of a football game

Football is a type of paintball game. each team gets a flag (The football) and has to take it from their base and place it in the enemies base. I'm not sure but I think if the person carrying the flag is hit then someone else picks up the flag and can carry it to the other base. If you wanted you probably could use a real football in this game, but it might be kinda hard to carry while playing paintball.

that's cool. It would be kinda fun to play paintball/football. Just imagine this scenario. It's fourth and long with 1 second on the clock. The quarterback drops back, he sees an open receiver streaking for the endzone. The QB pulls his arm back to pass when WHAM !!! He gets hit in the goggles with green paint, and as he tries to wipe the paint off, so he can see, he gets lit up by the rest of the opposing team.

I was playing with a crappy rental one time and this little twelve or 13 year old sticks his head out from a bunker 10 ft in front of me. I pulled the trigger on the m 98 and 2 balls fly out, both hitting his mask. The pink splatter made it look like I blew his head clear off his shoulders. It was so cool.

Well last weekend on Sunday I went to Waynes World for my B-Day. My best game that day was when I played on a course called "football". It was the last game of the day and I decided to waste all my paint. The whistle blew and I was off. Our team consisted of 1 tourney player me, an experienced Scenario game and rec ball player, and 4 newbies, my dad, my bro, my friend, and some other guy. The other team had 2 tourney players, 2 players like me and 2 newbs. We started off and I ran up as far as I could. My newb friend had a problem w/ his gun so I fell back to help him out. It turned out he didnt have the gun cocked. Anyways I ran up and shot one of the players like me in his hopper 3 times. My bro had someone pinning him down so I shot him: a tourney player w/an angel. I shot one of the newbs and the tourney on our team went to pin down the other tourney. I told my bro to move up and I showed him a spot to shoot the other tourney player, he had a cocker. I had a perfect shot on him but I let my brother take it since he was a newbie. That day I got 24 kills and was my best b-day yet.
