Road to Aruba

On May 13th, There's a Road to Aruba 3 man tourney at Wasaga Paintball. Wasaga is hosting a bunch of these tournaments, I think this one if the first of the series. Anyways, just wondering if anyone is going or playing in it? It starts at 8am (*yawn*). I'll be there unless I have to do stuff with my family (may 13 = mother's day). I just found out that I have a ride there so I'll be at the tourney for sure. It's this Sunday, who else is comin?? I might take mom since IT IS Mother's Day :) I'll be wearin a black JT Premier 2000 Jersey and I'll look like a loser with my mom, so ya..that's how to recongize me.

Loser with your Mom? I think any public embarassment by being seen with your Mom is better that not going.. or taking the bus..hehe. Milk it while you can! Gas prices suck, and soon i'll be living in cardboard!... Anyways Goodluck! Give details when you get back from it!!!

Damn it was a good tourney! It was all 3 on 3 speedball which rocked. In case you're wondering, I wasn't playing, I's jus watching. There was only about 10 teams, but there was about 30 or more games in all, it ran from 9:00-4:00, I missed the last rounds cause I had to go. I took some pics in the final games, I'll try to get them scanned. One guy had a Model 98 Custom with a sawed off barrel (not jking) and the reactive trigger system, WHOA! It shoots FAST!! There was a sweet chrome and black angel, I tried to use my last photo on it but my camera farted. I think either BEACH BOYZ or DOGS OF WAR won the tourney, not sure...
While there I also followed the refs around through some rec games, LOTS O NEWBS, I got hit a few times cause they couldn't tell whether I was playing or not, hmm...no gun, wearing white shirt and shorts with backpack and standing with hands on head, ya it was probably MY fault.
The 24 hr GULF WAR SCENARIO is gonna ROCK!! All the fields become one big one, which is DAMN big. I saw the Desert field and it's cool as hell, lots of open space and if your buddy's give ya cover you can make lots of nice bunker moves. Aight, me out now. PEACE
