anodizing barrel

Recently I came across a website about how to anodize your aluminium barrel. I just wanted to know IS ANODIZING A BARREL REALLY IMPROVES PERFORMANCES?

Anodizing makes the inside of the barrel surface harder. less scratch residence. As far as color etc that do in prove performance just looks. As far as the web page that you sent i try there way and didn't work out to well.
I do have a set up to anno things and a book on how to do it the right way at home the first time. book meaning 3 pages long. when we put up the web page the tech section will cover this.
Anodizing deal where working on is a ceramic coating that is just as thick as anodizing the marker or barrel. All or if not most of the barrels on the market have been anno anyway.thats if there a alum.
