But what is compressed air? Is it just regular air out of an air compressor? Can you use it on any gun? Just wondering, I would love to be able to fill my own tanks at home...What special equipment do you need?

Hey i've asked the same question before, u need to buy a hi pressure refill station, they r like $1200... i used to think that u could just use an air compressor with a special nozal attatchment that i've seen for sale. The average compressor only pumps at bout 3000 psi, fo a proper compressed air fill it needs to be pumpin out at 8000 psi. Hope i helped

thanx in trauma...is there any cheeper way to fill tanks though? i have heard like 10 stories on how to fill them and have no clue what is right.

if you want to fill your own tanks then go and buy a scuba tank, fill station, and a hpa tank for you marker. the only thing is that it is kinda pricey at first but it will eventually pay off that is unless you always play at a field that doesnt charge alot

Guess I shouldn't have started the thread the way I did. I can see its a kiddie magnet now. :D Anywho, I'll research it on the net, the information has got to be somewhere. The only reason I ask is because the nearest fill station is 40 minutes away. I would rather just get the gear and do it myself for the 6 guys I play with.

the cheapest way to get fills is to spend a lot of time in a dive shop get to know every one and get them to fill it for free. the best way is to learn to scuba dive then you can hang around and have a reason...but that is kinda expensive so nevermind
