i never got a straight answer on my other nitro post. can you use just a regular screw in nitro system (i.e. pmi pure energy 48ci 3000) with the horizontal max flo on the impulse??

I recommend not buying PMI's 48ci tank. The recharge rate will not keep up with the impulse's rate of fire. Plus they don't hold that much air.
The 48 ci PE /3000 will only give you about 500 shots per fill in a correctly tuned Impulse. We ahve had no problem with them keeping up (IE no shootdown) but we do get a very odd effect when they get low on air.
Fo some resion I don't understand, when the PE tank gets very low on air (like in the 600-700 psi range) suddenly the Maxflow on the guns INCREESES in pressure a great deal-- like up to 200 psi and some times more. This of course means the las half adozen shots or so will suddenly be "hot"

what happen if i shoot at high rof for extendet periods of time ( shooting co2 ) do i get a drop of in velocity ?
Only if you shoot fast enought long enought to actuly freeze the reg. We have shot the gun over a chrno so fast and so much that you can't even comfortably hang on to the reg (becuse its covered with frost) and sill had no shoot down.
