shutter and CO2

Does the shutter really have problems with co2 unless you use a remote?? Many people have said that about it in the review section. I have a remote, but i have a on/off valve on my tank and it doesnt fit on the whole way.

I have a Shutter, jsut got it actually and have run about 800 balls through it with CO2 and I have had NO problems.
