I would go with the dye aluminum because it is lighter and because dye is a very reputable company. I have saved my money for the past months and I am going to buy a Boomstick from dye. I heard they are very accurate.

I prefer the Smart Parts who, by the way, is also a reputable company. I've played with both barrels (14 in. Dye and 16 in. Smart Parts two-piece) and the Smart Parts simply outperforms the Dye. If you save a little more money, buy the Boomstick, it is a better barrel than both of these, but for the money, the Smart Parts is the way to go.
