Can you make the trigger pull on a 2000 or newer cocker shorter? If so, how?

You can get a flattened timing rod or a hole trigger plate. An old style frame with a gforce trigger stop will shorten it the most. To get a similar effect on the new frames, you can find some kind of small rod that will fit inside the trigger spring. With some patience you can get the little rod to exactly where you need it. Another easy way is to get an ans quickfire kit.

You will need a new 3way, the shockteck bomb 3way is the best right now. Its the shortest so you will be able to make your trigger pull the shortest with it.

The shocktech 3way will make no difference with a quickfire kit. Its rare to see a 3way that takes advantage the short cycling cause you will run into problems. The stock 3way will get the trigger as short as you reliably run it. You can barely get it to cycle making it as short as the stock 3way will allow. It took me alot of fine tuning to get it that short.

Shorter 3ways are better, it makes it harder to short stroke it and allows you to make the trigger shorter easier.
I don't know much about this quickfire kit, or how it works exactly, but shorter 3ways are in no way bad! Unless its a crappy one, but the shockteck Bomb is quite a good reliable 3way.

Im not saying its bad im saying you wont notice the difference. They wont help you not to short stroke though. The shocktech 3way is a good one except trying to time it. I doubt there is anyone that has their trigger as short as the bomb 3way will allow. This would be around 2mm or under and you would run into major reliability problems. 3mm is about as short as you want to get it and the stock can handle this fine. The ans quickfire has a front stop and a hole trigger plate that makes it about 3mm. Unless you have your trigger pull shorter than 3mm then you will see no difference if you change 3ways. If you dont have an old style frame or the trigger stop mod then you cant even make your trigger shorter so the throw doesnt even matter since you are still pulling the same legnth. I switched out my bomb for an sto which is the same as a stock one cause it wasnt worth dealing with.

The 3way will not make your trigger pull shorter. If you still decide to get one then you can find out for yourself

Palmer's front block comes in nickel. It is one of the best front block kits on the market.
