Hey I know that the Voofoo full flow is " the best upgrade for your impulse" But whats the news with the new DeSIGNZ High Flow Vertical Adapters? They sound like they do all the same things as the VFF but you dont have to tape it?
are they just as good and more importantly do they get rid of the first shot problem?:dunce:

yes, they're almost the same. no tapping for the HFVs. i just ordered an angled HFV from FOM wednesday. i think they get rid of the first shot problem, but that's something like what the tapeworm fixes? all i know is that the HFVs are pretty similar to the VFF and will lower your pressure and seperate the air to give your salenoid it's own air supply.

new designz makes a 15* angled full flow. yes, they are compatible with fore grips, vert regs, LPR's, guages, and whatever you can fit down there..some say all the optimizers like the full flows are the best upgrades you can get with your gun. the VFF, HFV, and angled HFV are all available at www.e-paintballoutlet.com

Hmmm so no one is sure if it gets rid of the first shot problem?
Well it sounds like it does... does anyone know?
and does anyone know how the VFF is better because it seams like this is much easyer and safer to install.
so why dont most players get this?
They have the same performance. the VFF is a vertical adapter and HFV has a 15 degree angle. No difference just how u will hold the gun now.
First-- the Full flow mods are designed to elimate BOLTSTICK not the 1st shot problem. 1st shot is a Hammer assembley problem not a solnoid problem.
The full flow mods will HELP the 1st shot problem only because they give the ram a "full charge' of air first time and every time. by "help" I mean the drop will be less- but will not neccessarly go away.
I have posted advice on 1st shot MANY times- but it would apper that you missed those posts. The first biggest thing to do is make sure there is NO (Zero-none) lube on your hammer, the back of the hammer, the bumper, or the front of the hammer assembly. There should be NO lube forward of the last o-ring.
make sure there is lube fourced down the passages in the housing (wipe off the excess)
When you de-gass your gun, push the bolt all the way forward- don't store the gun with the bolt in the back possition.
And finaly, shooot your gun! Most guns (when properly lubed) will "break in" after a whild. the bolt will start moving easier, and the 1st shot will go away.
As far as the difference in ND and VooDoo's full flow-- realy none at all. both do exactly the same thint and give exactly the same advanges.
