Well, I tryed posting this in the General forum, but my post was kinda misleading, so I'll make it simple. I am looking into my next gun to buy (my first was a talon). I'm looking at a semi. the choices are a spyder for under 120 bucks, or the new 02 Rebel. Which one should I get that will last me more than 6 months?cause I don't have a clue
thanx
imho i would get a spyder over a rebel anyday... but if u can try to get a used tippman 98 costom.... it can last u more that 2 years (imo)

I feel that Spyders are made better than Rebels. I had a Rebel LE and the internal parts seemed very cheap. If you get a Spyder and you take care of it, it will last a long time.

i don't see why everyone says get a tippman for their first gun. spyders are way better. tippmans are made of plastic on the outside. starting to sound like a talon right?? spyders alos have a way better line of guns. for example: the spyder shutter. that gun could outlast and definately outplay any tippman. if the spyder can make a good gun like a shutter, shouldn't there be credit in their other guns. everytime i played with one of my old friends, i had to count on him not being there cause when he did show up his tippman would quit working everytime. if i could reccomend a low-price marker for a newbie, it would be a bottom-line pirahna. i have one right now because i have no money to go out and buy a bushmaster or nemesis. however, i have been playing for 3 years so i'm not a newbie
spaz u must be new to pb if u think that tippys are plastic on the outside/....... its all metal man.... and the black stuff on top of metal is goddamn paint ITS PAINT I TELL YA
