You know how one big company makes ketchup and then sells it out to all the smaller companies to put there label on and sell.

Is it like that with barrels? Does one company make them and then sell different ones to different places for them to put there names on it? And for what reasons is any given barrel better than the next? I know some barrels are better than the next, but why?

Also one more. If you had to choose, what would you take the lapco Bigshot or the CP

Thanks,

lol...no, all the barrel manufacturers make their own barrels. barrels are better or worse because of four things.

1. length
2. porting
3. the interior pollishing job on the barrel
4. 1 step or 2 step. (in my oppinion)

I would go with a dye xcell for that price range...or a dye alluminum.

Yes Cory is almost correct!

CP or Lapco is a very good question because in my opinion are the best barrals!
You must choose accordanly to your paint size. Lapco just have two bore sizes (autospirit and Bigshot) and a single lenght (12" good enought) CP have 3 opitions of bore size and 3 or 4 lenghts. Cp is cheaper but not much! Lapco is a litlle noisy!!!

IMHO get the CP, specially the Pro Barrel System. Like me I get 2 crontrol bores and a single 10" tip. It'a amazing, I really standing about it!
