Im thinking of running a hpa system through the jt 4.0. Has anyone done this? Would I need to replace the expansion chamber and the whole bottomline/dropforward setup? Or would it work well on the stock setup?

I haven't seen it done, but it is rated for co2, n2 or hpa.

no its ok... ou can use HPA or nitro or whatever you want. the expansion chamber wont have to be replaced. i forget what the site was, but they did an in depth review on the 4.0 and they tested it both on co2 and nitro... so.. yep.

I use HPA. the only adjustment you will have to make is to the flow regulator screw. I had to tighten that screw for my HPA. When i tried to hook my CO2 up to it recently it leaked. So i think you will have to adjust the screw in or out depending on which tank you use if you have both.

http://www.pbstar.com did a review and used both Co2 and the Air America Melee system. I think the Co2 did better on consistancy though the melee did better on accuracy.
