Is it just me, or do preety much ALL barrels, with exception of the great ones like Bizerk Boomy and Freaks, are all just prefrence. Performing preety much the same with an occational differece like sound reduction. If i'm right try and get either a J&J ceramic or i'd recomend the whisper. Or you can spend the big bucks and Get one of the top line barrels.

But on another note, Your gun can't do 20 bps no matter what with your gun.

sorry dude i meant to revise it and say that barrels dont really break the balls unless you get a crappy one *cough* *cough* stock or when you use the wrong sized paintball or even something greater - USING BRASS EAGLE PAINTBALL :D

Waiting waiting I was thinking of getting the Freak Barrel kit, but now i settled for an Armson Stealth Barrel, big price difference, I mainly liked it because of its internal rifling, I was gonna go crazy and get a Thunder Pig 21'' Tru Flight hehehehe go search on eBay and see one of these sick things :D

Someone tell me why making a ball spin would matter.... Rifling only works for bullet shaped perjectile.

unless you use a lot of different paint , a freak would be useless. If you're gonna stick with one paint whe you play, get a 2K2 AA.

I just wanted to see for myself to see if it would really matter (rifling), plus i read some reviews on it on this website so I guess I should try it out and someone posted a review saying rifling does work on paintballs

I was thinking of the AA but i heard it was a pain in the bum to clean

nah. just take a waterbottle to the field and dunk it when you get a break, which doesn't happen often anyway.

Its funny because if you go on CMI's website http://www.paintballcmi.com the maker of the Thunder Pig Tru Flight rifled barrels they say that their barrels have spin free protection, which is contradicting what a rifled barrel is

they claim the CMI' Tru-Flight's had 4 years of research and testing put into em..................

What kind of paint do most tournies carry? I'd think RPS or Diablo but i've never ben to a field that made you buy their paint.

Freaks aren't that great. If its an open bolt gun you should be using a loose paint match anyway, if it's a .689 ball you should use a .692-3, it is .685, use a .689 barrel. Get a CP set.

TheBeardedFrog

I know you would think it would but medium is all that fits it right and I have never broken a ball with my autospirit.

Freaks are nice (I own one myself) but they are overrated. I'm not saying that there's a single thing wrong in them, but some people like to hype them to the sky and back. Can't go wrong with Boomsticks, CPs or Freaks in my opinion.
