i just got my impy today, and i am wondering about the battery on off switch located on the side of the marker, my question is, is there a certain amount of time from when u flip the switch to when the marker turns on?...because some times it turns on in a few seconds....while other times it takes like 20 seconds or doesnt even turn on.....someone help please! :(

my Impy takes about 2 seconds to turn on. it looks like it's doing a self check. the LED's on the back go from green to amber to green and then off. the led lights up when the trigger is pulled and the switch is "made".

Did you install a new trigger or mess around with the solinoid/stock trigger? If you did, you may have broken the microswitch on the circut board that causes the gun to turn on when you push the switch on the outside.
If you did that, there is still a way to turn it on, but it involves an allan key, and I dont know how its done, so ask someone else.

i JUST got it today.....all i've done is take the bolt out.......dry fire it (doing it the exact way it tells u too with manual)....and fire the gun while it was "on" but with no air or paint....THAT is all..nothing else..i havent messed with anything else:pissed:  :( :bawling: :paranoid:

coult you ahve possibley installed the battery wrong, even if it just touched the terminals, it can melt hte solder on teh connector, check that if all else faila, but also, take off your solenoid tray, make sure the switch cover thingy is seted on teh switch, when mine isnt on correctly, it won't work, also check your solenoid connection, does you led light?

i havent touched a THING....nothing!....the only thing i have done is take the bolt out and dry fire it a couple times.......i'm not happy:mad: :( ......i guess i'll just send it back to get it fixed because i havent touched the battery and now it wont turn on..... before it would turn on..but in like 15-30 seconds.....sometimes if i jiggled the switch a bit it might turn on....but now it ust doesnt light up or turn on.......i'm just gonna send it back cuz i dont wanna mess with the solenoid:mad2: :yell: ......dang........
send it back, it will be covered by the waranty, and you'll get it back quite soon, smart part techs are some of the best

We need to start a group or something:
NIOGBSPSA
The Non-Impulse Owners Group Because Smart Parts are Slack Asses.
I am going to call tomorrow around 2PM and see if they are in tempest, if they are I'll post or PM you.
