hey...
I am playing a tournament this sunday as well... pan am affiliate in Tucson, AZ. is it the same one as you? we will also be playing hyperball and airball....

I can give you some advice. I am the captain of my team. The most important thing for you to do, actually for your entire team to do... and tell them this: dont get shot.

not only that, but dont be afraid of getting shot. if you are afraid of getting shot, and sitting behind your bunker, and not poping out, then you cant see the other team making a push on you, which means that you cant shoot at them.

try to have a good break, try to be aware of the entire field at all time. communicate. dont stop communicating. yell... who cares if the other team knows what bunker you are in... most likley they already know, so yell to your teammates where they are. never stop talking to your team. your team should never stop talking as well.

thats about all I can give you for now.

i myself am a back player, and i can give you a few very important things to remember. the first and most important thing is always talk, constantly be talking to your front guys about whats going on, and hold your tapeline, dont let anybody move, if you see a shot crossfield, tell somebody to watch your tapeline, never leave it open for them to move. shoot alot of paint, keep them in, and dont let them move. also at the break sweetspotting is very important. if you dont know what that is its when you fire at a bunker where your pretty sure an opponent will try to go, say a 40 yard line laydown on the left, you shoot at/in front of it and he will run into your stream of paint. when sweetspotting at the break just walk to your primary bunker and shoot and maybe try to take a couple of their guys trying to sweetspot your front guys, and dont be intimidated and run to your bunker. like i said, just casually walk to your bunker while your shooting, then when in your bunker come out and shoot more. when your front guys are moving, then your gonna have to start moving so be prepared. and also whatever team takes the most ground off the break usually wins. i'm gonna go over this again briefly, communicate, shoot alot, dont leave your tapeline open, and most importantly STAY ALIVE and dont forget to maybe have a little fun, besides thats what playing paintball is all about.

Thanx , now thats what I call advice and when I used to try to sweet spot I would always shoot about 10 -20 yards in front of the dead box where people come out but now I'll shoot specially shot at a few bunkers. Because of played so many times at this field and I know preety much where everyone goes about %70 of the time.:D :) Also what part of FL are you from i,m from Panama City.
