remote fed to valve

I didn't like the way my remote hose stuck out the back of my gun, so i took off the QD on the remote and connected the hose directly to my valve. Is this safe to do? Will it cause any problems?

As long you have no leaks you're in good shape. paintballdiscounters.com even sells their "sniper" M98 already like that.
