Okay...I got my new 02 impy...and it worked good the first day. I just shot it around my yard to test it. The second day I went to shoot it again and now the upper bolt thing sticks forward when I shoot and my nitro leaks. Then sometimes when it doesn't stick forward I hear gas leaking out somewhere down below my grip where all the gadgets are...but then it spots in a couple of seconds. I'm having all these wierd problems that I dont know how to fix...the manual I got just confuses my a little more and I dont want to phuck up my gun trying to fix it when I dont know with the hell i am doing :( HELP!!!

Oh and one more thing...why is it so phucking hard to take off my nitro tank! Is is becasuse I still have air in it when I try too? I used to own a spyder TL plus with c02. I knew there would be a difference between the guns but I didn't expect anything this huge.
gahhhhhhh help!

make sure that your bolt pin is actually connected to the hammer assembly.

well the leaking is coming from your mak flow reg. what you need to do is get an oring and stick down into the asa part. that is what everyone does to fix that leak and it should let your tank come out easier to.

now the bolt sticking forward. you are going to have to e-mail my teammate who has an impulse of his own and ask him how to do it. just tell him you need his help on adjusting the dwell.

his e-mail is jenningstrent@hotmail.com

hope this helped.

First make sure your pressure and dwell are set correctly. Read your manual. It's easy... set your Max-Flow to 180psi and adjust the dwell until you are shooting 280 fps. Your dwell is then set. You'll obviously need a chronograph, but I'm sure you have one as anyone who owns a $500 Impulse can surely afford a $50 chronograph. After all, a chrono is the second most important piece of safety equipment in this sport, next to a mask.

Anyway... as for your bolt sticking... don't dry fire your Impulse unless you have some sort of solenoid optimizer (VFF, tapeworm, AFF, etc). There is bright pink piece of paper in your markers box that says this... you can't miss it.

BTW, stop trying to avoid the swear filters... it only makes you sound like an idiot.

Ok. The o-ring trick. Stick an extra 0-ring in the asa then screw the tank in quickly. The other guys told you about the dwell and the pin sticking into the manifold in the hammer. The only other thing i can think of for the bolt sticking forward is a dryfire. If you dryfire at all, chances are it will stick forward. If your operating pressure is too low, then there wont be enough "blowback" from the ball to recock the bolt. Maybe if you up the operating pressure on the max-flo, you will lose the sticking bolt problem. If not, then buy a Tapeworm, VFF,or any other solenoid optimizer. This will basically solve the bolt sticking forward.

email tech@smartparts.com and ask them. They are great with customer service.

I sounds like a lot of your problems can be solved simply by setting up the gun correctly.

If you MUST dry fire your gun, put a barrel condom over the barrel and pull the retaining straps as tight as you can.

Almost certanly, your dwell is too high. As mentioned above- simply set the dewl right.

Bold stick can be a problem even when everythijg is right. The first best solution is to be an VFF/AFF. THis is one of the best preformance adders on an Impulse. If you didn't do your homework before buying and ended up buying an Impulse with a bottom mounted reg instead of the vertical reg, Unfourtanly you will also have to buy a gas thru grip (that works wiht an ASA) a ASA adapter, and fittings and gas line. If you did your homework and bought the vertical reg gun to start, the VFF/AFF is a real cicch to do.

Of course if you have the bottom line reg an don't have the $$ to do it right, you can get some value for simply installing the Tape worm.
